Constipation is a Sign of Hormonal Imbalance: 9 Things You Can Do

When you are constipated you are not eliminating excess hormones. These tips are for everyone, including if you are trying to get pregnant, have pregnancy constipation or have any of the symptoms listed below… 

So, what can you do?


  • Drink lemon water upon waking
  • This helps flush out excess hormones


  • Eliminate Dairy from your Diet
  • Dairy products are extremely high in hormones


  • Eliminate Chicken from your Diet
  • Also extremely high in hormones


  • Use Toxic Free Beauty & Cleaning Products
  • Use products that are not hormone altering and loaded with toxins causing more stress on your liver


  • Lower Fat Intake
  • This varies depending on different factors but generally only around 10-15% of daily intake should come from fat


  • Store Food in Glass Containers
  • Plastic containers, produce bags, Ziploc bags release toxins


  • Add more Greens to your Diet
  • Cut out refined carbohydrates; products made with white flour 


  • Supplement with Magnesium
  • Helps loosen bowels as well as is needed for over 300 processes in the body


  • Do Yoga
  • The physical movement of twists and other postures, as well as the deep breath oxygenating the body as well energetic release are extremely beneficial in keeping things moving
